5th company run

i had a bruise + cut on my knee so i tot to sit this one out. however, as i was talking to Fazri, one of our support executives, he spilled that he was joining us. Lo and behold, a temptation to run filled my body. So, I told him, "OK I'll run just for you, my Darling, hahaha!"

The evenings in this week is permanantly painted with haze, I felt tat it beats the purpose, of the pack us running...to get healthy. Breathing all tat haze cudn't be good at all.

anyways, khor reached the finishing line 7 mins before fazri. chua a few seconds b4 me and hitesh the last...my personal time got better 37 mins with an injury...yeah yeah yeah...khor finished about 6mins before Fazri and us.

we're getting better.

but i really need to train up after my burn is healed. go to this link to see my latest injury...http://shirlenelim.multiply.com/journal
sigh...i guess i'll b sitting put at the next run.

turbulence training equipment

Thanks to craig ballentine.

I'm pumped up and been practising his "LIFESTYLE". It's really great. I got the 65cm diameter fitness ball and stretchy rubber bands to complete some of the equipment tat i can't get hold on in my condo gym.

At first. i got confused on how many supersets i'm suppose to do...but after the email correspondense, everything is clear and now i'm ready to blast off!!!

a hazy run

date : 7th July 2006
venue: TPM
weather conditions : hazy
participants: me, khor, zhen, chua, hitesh

This run was a run different than the others. Overall, the most difficult run I had.
Khor had separated from the pack even before car park C. Zhen was behind him.

I started running rather slowly. Chua decided to tail me. So, me, Chua & Hitesh ran in a line. Hitesh began to get left behind after the car park.

Khor was totally out of sight.

Unfortunately, Chua overtook me once I ran out of stamina at the palm trees. Later, at the second hill before the finishing line... I caught up with the guy. Chua was on top of the next hill!! sigh... i saved up some energy and ran downhill..on top of the next hill I saw him again on the last stretch..but he was somewat tired and was walking. So, I told my self to run as fast as I could manage to overtake the guy.

Inches by inches..my legs were getting heavier and heavier...Finally!!! I'm within 10 meters of him. Going at a minor uphill at the last 20++ meters to the finishing line...He spotted me and started sprinting....sigh

Personal time about (40 mins no change)

Winners
Khor ~ undefeated champion
Chua ~ without the energy bar...pinky its working...
Shirlene ~ next time no turbulence training on sunday...but i like the level of difficulty. lets see next week running without it. then with then without!!! hahaha...experimentation...cool..

3rd Company Run

Khor was not participating in this round. He has a nagging pain in the back(side??)...just joking.
Rolf and Razif did not participate as well. Rolf had a late meeting and Razif practically almost is Rolf's twin brother was with him, of course.

For this run, many looked forward to Razif's return. Since he's a national player and all.

On the weekends, I was working with the turbulence training and had muscle pain on all my major muscles. Turbulence training is tough. Guess wat? I just did the Introductory Stages. It's great. Felt like my muscles being slapped around. Wake up call!! So, I had a painful run.

However, tadaa.... I came out being first. I was actually think it wasn't a big deal since my competitor wasn't around. I actually had a bad run. But I'll admit I under estimated Zhen. :)

The Story:
Zhen and Chua sprinted up in the front as soon as we started. Up-towards the palm trees, Chua had used up his stamina(forgot to bring his power bar) walked. Luckily, for us, the world is still save. Hitesh caught up to Chua in the final hills. According to Hitesh, he was running in constant speed. Slowly but surely!! Hitesh finish in third place.

Zhen and me were running shoulder to shoulder. I would ran ahead of him and seconds later he would be at my side. Zhen said it was the blessings of longer legs. But I'd have to admit defeat this time. Even though, I finished first. Zhen stopped about 100 meters from the finishing. In other words, I had been properly challenged.
Good for u Zhen. I will officially admit you in my competitors list.

My personal time 'about' (forgot my watch) : 40 mins

grand results :-
